Elected to Coleraine Council in 2001, Phyllis places a strong emphasis on constituency work and is active in representing the issues raised by her constituents. Married with three children she has represented people across the whole community in both public and private housing areas on matters including housing, roads, planning and anti-social behaviour. She is treasurer of the East Londonderry DUP Association, and a strong advocate of the promotion of the Ulster culture.
Opposed to an off-shore Wind Farm, she will strive to maintain Coleraine Borough as the premier tourist region and supports the DUP’s policy of excellence in public services while maintaining low rates.
