Gareth Wilson

Gareth Wilson lives in Ahorey, is 26 years old, married and takes a keen interest in the Youth work within his local Church.

Since his graduation from University of Ulster in Coleraine where he studied Media and Journalism Gareth has worked full time in the DUP Constituency Office in Tandragee and is currently based in the new Constituency Office of William Irwin MLA in Richhill.

Joining the DUP in 1998 Gareth has maintained a keen interest in local and regional politics and has played a key role in promoting the DUP in the local area through the media and was Election Agent to Cllr. William Irwin MLA in the 2007 Assembly Elections.

Through his seven years experience in dealing with constituents concerns in the Cusher Ward and Constituency in general, Gareth is keen to see key issues in the District addressed such as lack of affordable housing, health provision and a reduction in crime.

Aside from politics Gareth has a keen interest in classic performance cars and country sports he is also a keen supporter of the Loyal Orders and religious liberties for all.
